Brief History:
Basically, the magic started when Patrick and Eric met at school, that was when they had their first argument. From there, they decided to start playing together. When Patrick and Eric got together to work on some songs that both had written, they knew that something special was happening, so they decided to form a band. However, they never could decide on a name or who else would be in the band. After kicking out 2 different drummers, 2 bassists, and a guitarist, they finally settled on Reggie Woods, a friend from school, for the bass player, but they were still without a drummer. Eric's first rock band, Emanon, had an amazing young drummer named James Stanley. Eric had always wanted to play with James again, so he asked James to join the band. At the time, James was in a band called Cloud 9. James didn't feel like leaving them to join Swelter, until he got mad at Cloud 9 for being stupid. Finally, Swelter was a band, and a good band at that.
